Market Harborough, The Three Swans Hotel; haunted waiter, It is reported that two waiters have died in this hotel. One was supposed to have hanged himself and the other (quite recently) caught on fire in the kitchen and died.
Stories of a portrait in the bar downstairs and every time it is moved strange things happen.

The waiter did not die in the kitchen. The terrible event took place in the still room on the first floor. The waiter died 19 days later, in hospital. I know because I was there.
