Ghost Sighting Cumbria Barrock Fell
Barrock Fell, south of Carlisle was occupied by the Romans in the forth century. They built a small fort here which is said to be haunted by a notorious highwayman - John Whitfield, who was gibetted in the 18th century. His Ghost can be heard crying out.
