Haunted London Amen Court

Amen court is a small alleyway close to St Paul's Cathederal. It backs onto the former sight of Newgate prison. The alley is now known as "Dead man's walk" because there have been many sightings of a dark shapeless figure sliding along the wall accompanied by the sound of chains. It is thought the be the ghost of a cat burgler called Jack Shepherd.
