Even if we have not spotted a ghost ourselves or felt the presence of one, we would surely know people who claim to have experienced a ghostly encounter. People usually attribute their paranormal experiences to their imagination. Ghosts have been around for centuries, and science has not been able to explain them.

If these questions are taken seriously and attempts made to find answers to them, we might very well come up with proof that ghosts exist.
What is the law of thermodynamics? Among the gravitational laws, this is the most significant law. A careful study of it reveals the fact that science has already proved that ghosts do exist. According to this law "Energy can neither be created nor destroyed; it can only change form."
Let us now analyze this law carefully. Energy never dies, according to this important law; instead, energy shifts from one form to the other. Accordingly, the energy that we are is not destroyed by death; it just changes form.
Skeptics would say that our bodies would be decomposed by the action of the microorganisms, and this is how human energy would change form. But, what about the intelligence that gives us an identity? Are Ghosts Safe?
Even if we don't believe in the existence of ghosts, they interest us. Since they are unknown entities, whose existence science scornfully dismisses, we consider them with apprehension. Many of us mistakenly believe that ghosts can cause great harm. But, this isn't true.
Let us first consider the meaning of the word "hurt." It could mean different things to different people. The word "hurt" encompasses a wide range of meanings from the infliction of physical pain to psychological, spiritual, or emotional pain.

1. Ghosts cannot cause physical harm.
Ghosts cannot harm you at a physical level because they exist on a different dimension. They do not even have a body the way we do. If ever you see a ghost, you might recognize him or her by dress or mannerisms. However, a ghost has no physical substance.
Owing to these reasons, a ghost can't even slap you. Even if a ghost comes close to you and whacks you across the face, you won't feel any pain because you exist on different dimensions. At the most, you might feel a chill or a draft when your energy meets that of the ghost.
2. The living are usually responsible for any negative experiences with a ghost or a spirit.
For various reasons, people reject the very existence of ghosts. So, if a ghost converts your home into a playground, you might feel stressed even though the ghost's activities are harmless.
Your religion might teach you that anything related to the paranormal is the devil's work. So, even if you have an encounter with a ghost, you might mistake the ghost to be the devil and feel that great harm is being done to you. Moreover, certain popular movies almost encourage this wrong way of thinking.
In such cases, meeting a ghost could be the worst thing that can happen to you even if the ghost means no harm. The stress that a ghostly encounter causes might also lead to a physical illness, and you might believe that the ghost caused the illness, which is simply not true.
You have to accept the fact that ghosts are creatures who inhabit the other world, a different dimension. They cannot harm you physically because they have no physical body. And as long as you stay calm and keep an open mind, they cannot harm you emotionally and psychologically too.
