Edgehill Battlefield was the first major battle of the Civil War. Oct 23 1642. The site is the most haunted in Warwickshire. A ghostly battle can still sometime be seen and the sound of drums can be heard.

Brownsover hall hotel - Rugby - is a victorian gothic mansion. It was the home of the Boughton-Leigh family. One member of the family known as "one handed Boughton" because his hand had been severed, used to drive around the estate in his coach. When he died his ghost continued to do so.
